Supplemental Register

25 October, 2018

« Back to Glossary Index

The USPTO’s secondary trademark register for marks that are not distinct enough to qualify for listing on the Principal Register, but have the potential to identify the source of goods or services with the applicant. These marks receive protection from conflicting marks, though to a lesser extent than if they were on the Principal Register.
